ACTIVITIES

  • RESEARCH

RECFAM engages in the conduct of evidence-based quantitative and qualitative research that raises awareness of the motivating factors underpinning development, child abuse, human/child trafficking as well as all other issues related to regular and irregular migration.  Based on the outcome of the research, the organization develops pragmatic approaches to counter these social problems.

  • PROTECTING & REINTEGRATING VULNERABLE CHILDREN & YOUNG MIGRANTS ON THE MOVE

  • PRIDE SANITARY PAD PRODUCTION & MENSTRUAL HYGIENE EDUCATION
    • Producing organic and biodegradable sanitary pads (made from banana fiber & local cotton) for women and girls who lack access to proper menstrual hygiene products and education.
      Our Mission
Access to safe menstrual hygiene products is not a privilege; it is a right. We ensure that girls and women in Ghana have access to affordable, safe and environmentally friendly sanitary pads in order to increase the school attendance and gender equality. We also provide education and work to de-stigmatize this natural and healthy process of the female body.
